About the Role

As a Frontend Engineer at Xemplo, you’ll play a key role in uplifting and evolving our frontend systems at Xemplo. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product, and technical leadership to design and build solutions that scale — not just blindly ship features.

We're looking for someone who:

• Makes well-thought technical decisions 
• Values quality over speed-for-the-sake-of-speed
• Proactively suggests improvements when discovered

What You'll Be Working With

• Modern TypeScript / JavaScript
• Component-driven UI development
• React 18+
• Agile, collaborative development team
• Full CI/CD-driven workflow

Experience with other modern frontend frameworks is welcome. If you have strong fundamentals and the right behaviours, that is what is most important.

What We're Looking For

You're likely to succeed in this role if you:

• Are a strong, real-world experience as a Frontend Engineer
• Understand scalability and performance in browser-based applications
• Think in terms of architecture, not just components
• Are comfortable improving and upgrading legacy platform modules where necessary
• Are interested in building systems, not just closing tickets
