Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will coordinate the transportation of goods by connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating rates, and managing shipping logistics. Daily tasks include identifying potential clients, building and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring timely and secure delivery of freight. Responsibilities also include tracking and monitoring shipments and handling any issues that arise during transit.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
• Proficiency in Customer Service and Account Management
• Expertise in Dispatching and coordinating transportation logistics
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices is a plus
• Proficiency in transportation management software and related tools
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or business education is advantageous
• Experience with produce and reefer freight is a positive factor
• Experience with cross Border Canadian freight is a positive factor
