The Role
Ultimech is looking for a Freelance Sales Partner to drive new business by selling IT consulting services based on freelance talent. This role is fully autonomous and results-driven, ideal for someone comfortable with performance-based compensation and long-term client relationships.
You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, understanding their project needs, and placing freelance IT consultants on medium- to long-term engagements.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and approach potential clients with IT staffing or project needs
· Understand client requirements and propose suitable freelance consultants
· Negotiate commercial terms and close deals
· Build and maintain long-term client relationships
· Collaborate with Ultimech to ensure smooth consultant onboarding and project delivery
Compensation Model (Performance-Based Salary)
· No fixed base salary during the first year
· Compensation is salary-like and performance-based, not a traditional commission
· Example scenario (minimum expected performance):
1 consultant placed per month
€150 daily margin per consultant (20% of the margin is for you)
Average contract duration: 6 months
Equivalent annual income: approximately €36,000
· Compensation structure can be reviewed after the first year, not before
This model rewards consistency and long-term placements rather than one-off deals.
Profile We Are Looking For
· Proven experience in B2B sales, in IT consulting, staffing, or IT freelancing ecosystems
· Comfortable working as a freelance, self-managed professional
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
· Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work without a guaranteed base
· Good understanding of IT roles and project-based work models
