About the Role The FP&A Analyst is a core member of the finance team, responsible for turning financial data into meaningful insight that supports decision-making across Oritain. Working closely with the FP&A Lead, this role owns key elements of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring leadership has the accurate, timely information needed to run and grow the business. Key Responsibilities Own the preparation of monthly management reporting and variance analysis, providing clear commentary that explains the story behind the numbers. Play an active role in the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, coordinating inputs, building schedules, and ensuring the process runs to time. Build and maintain robust financial models that support business planning, scenario analysis, and commercial decision-making. Prepare accurate and timely management reports, presentations and dashboards for use by senior management and the board. Identify opportunities to streamline the way financial information is captured, shared, and interpreted across the business. Partner with colleagues across finance and the wider business to gather information required for planning and analysis. Skills & Experience Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by relevant experience. Excellent analytical skills, problem solving and financial modelling capabilities. Effective communicator with the ability to present information clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues. Strong Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis Experience with data visualisation and BI tools, preferred but not essential as long as you are willing to learn.
