You'll build resilient ingestion pipelines for banking and tax data, design scalable microservices in Postgres, and enable ML-driven insights that transform hours of manual review into minutes of automated processing. What you will do: Design and implement robust data ingestion and normalization pipelines for third-party financial sources like Plaid, the IRS, and accounting platforms. Architect performant backend systems for asset serving, authentication, and complex relational data modeling using Postgres and GraphQL. Productionize ML-driven signals by implementing feature extraction pipelines and integrating classification and anomaly detection models into core workflows. The ideal candidate: Proven experience building and operating event-driven data systems and complex APIs at early-stage startups where they wore many hats. Expert-level proficiency in relational database design and a deep understanding of data correctness, auditability, and long-lived data contracts. Practical familiarity with ML fundamentals including feature engineering and model evaluation, with the ability to consume and debug ML-driven systems effectively. Who are Jack & Jill?
