Description du poste Position to be filled: Financial Assistant This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, with the potential to progressively expand responsibilities over time. It also provides valuable exposure to cross-regional collaboration, involving interactions with stakeholders across multiple regions. The position supports both regional and group-level finance activities, offering insight into diverse markets and financial frameworks. Key responsibilities: Processing / Document Preparation Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims accurately and in a timely manner. Handle intercompany purchase invoicing. Manage all company credit card expenses. Record cash receipts and payments. Prepare scheduled and ad hoc payment runs. Raise and distribute customer invoices in line with contractual terms and billing schedules. Process intercompany sales invoices. Monitor weekly cash flow. Support month-end close activities, including journal preparation. Administration Handle incoming calls. Coordinate travel arrangements, including sourcing costs and obtaining approval for trains, flights, hotels, and car hire. Generate purchase orders within the system. Maintain and update the schedule of credit card payments. Controls E nsure all purchase invoices and expense claims are properly authorized, through approved purchase orders or management sign-off. Reconcile supplier statements with the purchase ledger. Review and reconcile company credit card transactions against statements. Monitor receivables and perform credit control activities, including following up on outstanding balances. Interaction Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoicing queries. Handle customer billing queries efficiently and professionally. Communicate with internal teams and international offices on accounting-related matters. Collaborate with Sales teams on invoicing and payment issues. Other Carry out ad hoc tasks as required by senior management and other stakeholders. Profil recherché Key personal attributes Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all tasks. Confident, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach to work. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (in English). Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and resolve issues efficiently. Required Profile Proven experience in accounting transactional processing, with a solid understanding of financial workflows and controls. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and demonstrate advanced capabilities. Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite and/or FinancialForce would be a distinct advantage. Bachelor’s degree or higher (Bac +3 minimum) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
