Projektbeschreibung
Our client is looking for a consultant for severeal projects:
Main: Database mirroring (FileMaker to SQL)
The aim is to implement a mirroring functionality from a FileMaker database system to a SQL service.
In scope is data layer (50+ tables, 300GB size), without business logic or UI elements. The function shall deliver a scheduled, autonomous data mirror update. The implementation requires documentation (design records, task records, specification) implemented in Atlassian Jira/Confluence Cloud and attachments (pdf, docx, pptx) in SharePoint storage of the company. In addition, the client aims to implement GitOps deployment (see other projects) for configuration,
Further, the target platform (SQL) requires a governance model.
Additional: FileMaker DevOps
The aim is to improve the deployment of changes to the FileMaker platform (business logic, UI and database configuration [not data] levels) by automating processes. Using GitOps as preferred model, adjusted to FileMaker limitations and development tooling (FMPerception), they aim to automate change traceability (version control) and deployment automation.
Additional: Linux & Docker GitOps for web applications and services
For the existing microservice servers, based on Linux OS and Docker compose stacks, a central proxy and deployment connected already with our Bitbucket/Code-review platform by a custom deployment automation service, they aim to improve and harden the DevOps stack by documenting and optimizing the system.
Additional: FileMaker & SQL database backup strategy and operations improvements
Based on the main project, the SQL target service and data is provided with some backup & recovery features. The aim is to understand this system better, document available features, capabilities (by IT or by Digital Service) and procedures, as well as identifying gaps for improving and verifying the backup & recovery procedures.
