Position Title: Field Sales Representative, NC Group: Sales & Marketing Location: Remote- State of NC About SageSure Insurance Managers SageSure Insurance Managers provides competitively-priced property-focused insurance products to its broad network of agents and brokers. SageSure functions as a Managing General Underwriter and General Agency for several highly-rated insurance groups in 11 states and growing. SageSure is the largest independent residential property MGU in the US with more than 100,000 policyholders. Position Description: As the NC Field Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of launching and shaping a new state for a rapidly growing organization. This role is essential to achieving company growth objectives; the right candidate will help steer this growth in a profitable manner. Candidates will have the opportunity to join a highly profitable, growing company and share in the company’s success via a target bonus program tied to company results and personal performance. If selected you must reside in the eastern/coastal part of NC. Responsibilities: Develop sales plan from the ground up, actively track progress against targets and develop strategies for filling any gaps that arise Increase overall sales and agency engagement through increased quote volume and close ratios Provide market and customer feedback with the organization to ensure SageSure is responsive and capitalizes on opportunities to grow the business. Execute on initiatives in coordination with marketing efforts to advance SageSure’s visibility and market position in state. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure territory success (e.g. underwriting, marketing, policy services) Weekly tracking and reporting against sales goals Perform 10-12 agency visits a week Complete detailed trip report for each visit through SalesForce Maximize participation in trade show and industry events Requirements and Skills: Must live in the eastern/coastal part of NC, have reliable transportation, clean driving record and ability to travel on a regular basis. Proven success in establishing and executing a production plan, exceeding new business sales goals and an ability to grow and manage a sales region. Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel. Candidate will be required to analyze large amounts of data and maneuver through complex reports. Works independently, able to assess workload and plan accordingly to meet competing deadlines Strong written and verbal communications skills Must reside in Eastern/Coastal North Carolina Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred Agent license and/or professional designation are a plus Five years territory management, sales, agency or underwriting experience in the Property & Casualty discipline in the state of NC All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
