Facade Paneling Estimator / Takeoff Specialist

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Virtual Assistant specializing in facade paneling takeoffs and estimates. In this role, you will be a key part of our pre-construction workflow — turning architectural drawings into accurate material quantities and competitive bids, specifically ACM paneling, glass facade, and curtain wall scopes. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed material takeoffs for facade systems — with primary focus on ACM paneling, architectural glass facades, curtain walls, and storefront assemblies Read and interpret shop drawings, architectural elevations, and project specifications to extract precise panel dimensions and quantities Prepare itemized estimates covering materials, labor, fasteners, glazing components, sub-framing, and ancillaries Produce organized takeoff reports and bid documents in Excel, PDF, or client-preferred formats Review and cross-check all estimates for accuracy before submission What we're looking for: Proven experiencein facade, cladding, or exterior envelope takeoffs and estimating Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, shop drawings, and specs — especially for metal and glass systems Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for quantity tracking and estimating Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations.
