This is a freelance, as-needed position. * *Applicants must be U.S. citizens willing to undergo security clearance processing** Requirements Qualifications include: Three years of experience providing professional legal language services to governmental clients Extensive legal language service experience is required Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or comparable field required Must be able to use CAT tools (if translator or editor); experience using Trados preferred Excellent organizational skills and understanding of language services Advanced proficiency in reading/writing/listening and speaking in English and the target foreign language(s) Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments Excellent written and verbal communication skills
