We’re now looking for an Engineering Lead (Engagement Tools) — a hands-on, people-first leader ready to take ownership of a critical product area and drive both technical excellence and team growth. Here’s how you’ll make an impact: Develop engineers and QA through structured people management, including regular 1-on-1s, goal setting, performance evaluations, and continuous feedback to maintain high performance, engagement, and ownership Shape architecture and evolve the technical roadmap to improve scalability, performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency — aligned with product and business goals Own end-to-end execution from planning to release, improving predictability, quality, and time-to-market through strong processes and KPIs Partner with Product, PMs, and other Engineering Leads to align priorities, reduce friction, and make sustainable technical decisions Continuously improve engineering workflows, team processes, and platform reliability, including incident management and post-incident improvements Support complex technical decisions and contribute to the codebase when needed What makes you a strong candidate: 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams 7+ years of hands-on development experience with a strong mix of backend and frontend expertise Strong track record of active people management including regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, goal setting, and development plans Working knowledge of Java, Spring, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure), Experience with relational databases (MySQL is a plus) and NoSQL solutions Upper-Intermediate English or higher Experience in the iGaming industry is highly desirable What you’ll tackle early on: Polishing people management processes Taking full delivery ownership across the team, ensuring accountability and predictability Refining a technical roadmap aligned with business priorities Breaking down knowledge silos and increasing cross-functional ownership within the team Success metrics you’ll own: Consistent, on-time delivery of projects with high predictability Stable and continuously improving team KPIs Full coverage of performance reviews and clear goal-setting across the team Strong team engagement and high retention levels What success looks like in a year: The team operates with full end-to-end ownership of their domain Delivery processes are predictable, scalable, and efficient Critical knowledge is distributed — every key area is covered by multiple engineers The team is stable, engaged, and continuously improving Why you’ll love It here: Own a critical product area that directly impacts player experience and operator success Work with a high-performing, collaborative, and international team Shape engineering practices, processes, and architecture at scale Remote/hybrid-friendly environment with modern workflows Growth budgets, bonuses, English classes, and development days Paid vacation, well-being support, and a genuine work-life balance If you’re looking for a role with real ownership and impact — we should talk!
