Overview We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who thrives in automation, controls design, and problem-solving. What You'll Do Design electrical and control systems for automation projects using AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical Create schematics, panel layouts, IO lists, and cable schedules Develop BOMs, drawings, and complete design packages for release Select and specify hardware and components for automated systems Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams Support builds, troubleshooting, and commissioning as needed Help develop and maintain standard components and CAD libraries Contribute to improving design efficiency, accuracy, and overall system performance What You Bring Required: 4-year degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation or controls Experience designing electrical schematics for PLC-based systems Experience with industrial control panel design Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, or UL508A standards Preferred: Experience with system integration, robotics, or automated equipment Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, etc.) Experience supporting projects from concept through completion What Sets You Apart Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills High attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Passion for automation, robotics, and continuous improvement Work Environment Hybrid work environment (office, remote, and occasional customer site work) Fast-paced, team-oriented engineering group with strong technical leadership Opportunity to work on complex, custom automation projects Why Join Us Work on meaningful, hands-on automation projects Be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and execution Opportunity to grow your skills and take ownership of projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) Overtime eligibility Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.) Paid time off and holidays
