Ecommerce & Merchandising Manager

Minimum Commitment: 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Parman is looking for an Ecommerce & Merchandising Manager to own the commercial performance of our digital storefront.
This role is for someone who understands how a DTC website actually sells. Not just how it looks, but how customers move, browse, hesitate, add to cart, abandon, return, and buy again.
You will sit at the intersection of ecommerce, merchandising, analytics, retention, and Shopify execution. Your job is to turn traffic into revenue.
Experience in jewellery, fashion, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or other premium DTC brands would be a strong advantage.
What You’ll OwnEcommerce Performance- Own website revenue, conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor, and repeat purchase growth
- Identify revenue opportunities across the website
- Improve the customer journey from homepage to checkout
- Build a clear ecommerce roadmap for growth
Website Experience & CRO- Analyse Shopify, GA4, heatmaps, and session recordings
- Identify drop-offs, friction points, and conversion gaps
- Improve homepage, collection pages, product pages, landing pages, and checkout flow
- Prioritise CRO experiments and website improvements
Ecommerce Merchandising- Decide product visibility across homepage, collections, and campaigns
- Improve product discoverability and collection ordering
- Recommend bundles, cross-sells, upsells, and seasonal merchandising
- Use data to identify bestsellers, slow movers, and category opportunities
Analytics & Reporting- Create weekly and monthly ecommerce performance reports
- Analyse product-wise, collection-wise, category-wise, and site-wise performance
- Track revenue, conversion, AOV, funnel performance, customer behaviour, and retention
- Share clear insights, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
Retention Strategy- Build strategy for loyalty, WhatsApp, email, and repeat purchase journeys
- Identify ways to increase customer lifetime value
- Work with internal teams to ensure retention initiatives are implemented correctly
Shopify & Developer Direction- Guide the Shopify developer on what needs to be built and why
- Create clear briefs for website improvements, landing pages, features, and optimisations
- Prioritise development tasks based on revenue impact
- QA website updates before they go live

- Improved website conversion rate
- Increased AOV through merchandising and bundling
- Built a clear ecommerce reporting system
- Improved product discoverability across the website
- Established a retention roadmap across WhatsApp, email, and loyalty
- Created a prioritised development roadmap for Shopify improvements
- Become the primary owner of website growth and performance
What We’re Looking For- 3–6+ years of experience in ecommerce, DTC, fashion, jewellery, beauty, lifestyle, or accessories
- Strong understanding of Shopify and DTC customer journeys
- Ability to read analytics and translate data into action
- Experience with tools like GA4, Shopify Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar
- Strong sense of merchandising, product visibility, and conversion
- Ability to work with designers, copywriters, developers, marketers, and founders
- Commercial thinking, sharp execution, and clear communication
