We are seeking a Director of Projects to Lead the strategy, execution, and performance of a high-impact, client-focused program. This role is responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring successful delivery of full lifecycle solutions that meet client expectations and business objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key client engagements, partnering closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience while optimizing revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction. GENERAL JOB DUTIES: * Develop and execute strategic program plans including resource planning, onboarding, and training * Translate complex technical and operational requirements into structured, executable project plans * Lead cross-functional teams across business units to deliver high-quality outcomes * Serve as the primary client contact for all program-related matters * Align delivery strategies with sales objectives to drive growth and profitability * Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) including revenue, margin, utilization, customer satisfaction, and safety * Analyze program performance data to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and client value * Ensure governance, consistency, and standardization across program execution * Lead, coach, and mentor project managers and technical team members * Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development in partnership with HR * Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business reviews with data-driven insights * Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED: * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field * 5+ years of program, project, or operations management experience in a technical or industrial environment * Strong leadership experience in a matrixed organization * Proven ability to manage client relationships at a senior level * Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet) and business systems (Excel, SharePoint, SAP, IFS) * PMP certification or equivalent preferred * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills * Willingness to travel * Ability to drive performance, accountability, and team engagement The target annual base compensation for this position is $160,000 - $180,000, based upon relevant qualifications.
