About the Role
Odysseus Solutions is hiring a Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of a globally distributed travel technology business. Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering with executive leadership, the CFO will own the full financial function across U.S. and international entities and play a central role in shaping the company's next phase of growth. This is a strategic seat at the leadership table for a finance executive who combines technical depth with strong business judgment, international experience, and the ability to operate as a true partner to product, operations, and engineering.
What You Will Own
- Full ownership of financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across U.S. and international entities
- Capital allocation and investment recommendations to the CEO and Board
- Treasury, cash flow management, multi-currency operations, and global banking relationships
- Consolidated financial reporting and monthly management packages
- Annual audit, tax planning, and compliance with US GAAP and applicable international standards
- Transfer pricing, cross-border tax structure, and intercompany agreements between U.S., India, Romania, and Australia entities
- Financial modeling for product expansion, new market entry, and SaaS pricing strategy
- Revenue recognition for software, licensing, and recurring service contracts
- Internal controls, financial policies, and enterprise risk management
- Evaluation of strategic transactions, partnerships, and potential acquisitions
- Leadership and development of the finance, accounting, and billing teams across multiple time zones
- Partnership with product and operations leaders on unit economics, customer profitability, and resource planning
What You Bring
- 15 or more years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years as a CFO or in an equivalent senior finance role
- Experience leading finance in software, SaaS, technology services, or travel technology
- Strong technical foundation in US GAAP, multi-entity consolidations, and audit management
- Proven experience managing multi-currency operations and international subsidiaries
- Working knowledge of transfer pricing and cross-border tax compliance
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven ability to translate financial data into clear strategic recommendations
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Background
- Experience in travel technology, hospitality technology, or B2B SaaS
- Familiarity with GDS, OTA, or online booking platform business models
- Background scaling finance functions within a privately held, founder-led, or growth-stage business
- Experience with ERP implementations and SaaS billing systems
- Track record managing globally distributed finance teams
