Reporting to: CMO (company-wide mandate; close partnership with CEO, Chief of Staff, CFO and PE sponsors) We’re entering a pivotal phase – building our strategic, AI-first corporate communications capability : aligning the company narrative, strengthening executive visibility, and building a scalable comms operating system. Your mission (12 months): Strengthen strategic positioning and drive company-wide narrative alignment (“single source of truth”). Build and run a Comms Operating System : governance, processes, planning, measurement, and AI-first workflows. Deliver excellent day-to-day comms execution with your team in a fast-moving environment. Builder-first, hands-on corporate comms leader with strong strategic mindset, structure and speed. Proven ability to align senior stakeholders and implement governance that people actually follow. Strong writing and editorial standards; extensive expertise in AI-driven communications; calm under pressure; real backbone. Fluent in German & English . 10+ years of progressive experience in Communications & PR Berlin hybrid (3+ days on-site); not fully remote . Develop and lead the strategic corporate communications , working closely with and advising senior management. Own narrative architecture (messaging system, Q&A, fact base, templates) and executive alignment. Drive Executive Communications & visibility (CEO/C-level sparring, ghostwriting, LinkedIn, speaker placement, media prep) Own the stakeholder management strategy Build issues & crisis readiness (playbooks + simulations). Lead the transformation toward AI-first comms (approved GenAI platform, governance, adoption) / build, lead, and scale a high-performing AI-driven PR engine Lead internal comms strategy , editorial calendar, and success metrics across the organisation. Drive change communication and storytelling — making complex topics clear, consistent, and inspiring. Own major company events (All-Hands, People Leader Days, leadership offsites) end-to-end. Partner with Chief of Staff and CEO to shape messaging for leadership updates and board-related cascades.
