Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Amazon leader to join our Ecommerce team as Director of Amazon, responsible for the “I and love and you” and Made by Nacho businesses. In this role, you will lead and own the strategic management and growth of the Amazon account, driving brand presence, demand generation, and long-term profitable sales performance. Reporting into the SVP of Omnichannel Sales, this role offers the opportunity to directly influence category growth, elevate brand impact, and shape how two beloved pet brands show up on the world's most important ecommerce platform. What You'll Do Own monthly, quarterly, and annual Amazon goals across revenue, contribution margin, and market share for both “I and love and you” and Made by Nacho. Serve as the primary owner of the Amazon 1P relationship, leading day-to-day engagement with Vendor Managers and maintaining connectivity with cross-functional teams. Own full P&L responsibility for the Amazon business, actively managing Vendor Central financial levers including list price, trade terms, accruals, rebates, markdowns, shortages, and chargebacks to drive profitable growth. Partner with the SVP of Omnichannel Sales to translate growth objectives into a clear Amazon account strategy, inclusive of annual operating plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs). Lead JBP execution, trade investment strategy, and annual negotiations in close partnership with Finance, ensuring alignment to brand financial targets and Amazon category priorities. Collaborate with the paid media and brand marketing teams to co-build demand plans and align promotional investments with retail strategy. You won't manage the ads, but you'll shape the strategy together. Own demand forecasting for Amazon, delivering accurate weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts inclusive of promotional and ad activity, in partnership with Demand Planning and Supply Chain. Own the Amazon digital shelf (PDPs, A+ content, SEO, imagery, ratings & reviews, and brand stores) ensuring both brands show up consistently and compellingly, in partnership with the Brand Marketing team Lead promotional strategy and execution across tentpole events (Prime Day, Holiday) and everyday programs including Subscribe & Save, ensuring strong merchandising, operational readiness, and post-event reporting. Monitor and report on category and competitive performance on Amazon, identifying risks and opportunities related to pricing, assortment, content, and share of voice, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional partners. Provide regular business reporting and executive-level readouts, including weekly performance updates, monthly forecasts, and quarterly business reviews. Act as a cross-functional connector, ensuring alignment across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Content to deliver consistent execution on Amazon. Deep fluency in Vendor Central and the financial levers, promotional programs, operational mechanics, and content tools required to operate the baseline functions of an Amazon business Experience owning a full account P&L and managing trade budgets, pricing structures, and margin optimization Strong forecasting skills with the ability to factor in promotions, seasonality, competitive dynamics, and supply chain variables. Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear actions and executive-level narratives. Experience working in CPG; pet industry experience is a plus. Experience with tools like Stackline, Pacvue a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present with confidence to senior leadership. Some people management experience and demonstrated readiness to grow as a leader Bachelor's degree required. Work Environment Position is remote, but will require travel to retailers and home office in Boulder periodically Compensation Range: “I and love and you” and Made by Nacho provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $130,000-160,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education, and training, as well as business and company performance. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus, an equity incentive plan, and a competitive benefits package.
