About The Role We are seeking an experienced DevOps / CI/CD Engineer to join our dynamic team at UST. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. This role requires a proactive professional with a strong technical background in automation, containerization, and cloud platforms. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure streamlined and secure deployment processes. Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 9+ years of experience in DevOps or CI/CD engineering. Strong hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines is essential. A deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization is required, along with practical experience in deploying, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Shell scripting is mandatory. Experience with DevSecOps tools like Snyk, SonarQube, or similar is highly desirable. Candidates should have solid knowledge of containerization using Docker, version control systems like Git, and branching strategies. A comprehensive understanding of build, release, and deployment processes is crucial for success in this role. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps. Automate deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of applications. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD workflows, utilizing tools such as Snyk and SonarQube. Manage container orchestration and deployment strategies using Kubernetes, including scaling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions with tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation to automate cloud resource provisioning. Monitor system performance and health using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Work closely with security teams to embed security measures into the CI/CD pipeline, reducing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and continuously improve existing processes for efficiency and security. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle.
