Job purpose Accountable for delivering accurate and value-led demand plans across finished goods (including range cookers and hoods) and all spare parts demand and supply planning. The role balances customer availability, service performance, inventory working capital, lifecycle risk, supporting IBP and a strong aftersales consumer journey. Key Accountabilities and decision ownership in RSM Function: Demand Planning Ownership Own end‑to‑end demand planning and forecasting for finished goods and all spare parts across short‑, medium‑ and long‑term horizons. Ensure demand plans are aligned to product lifecycle stages, commercial priorities, service commitments, and aftersales requirements. Maintain a single, integrated demand signal to support supply, inventory, and service decision. BP, Governance & Decision Support Own the demand planning process, cadence, and governance in line with IBP standards and timelines. Provide clear demand assumptions, risks, opportunities, and scenario views into demand reviews, IBP, and senior leadership forums. Forecast Performance & Continuous Improvement Manage forecast accuracy and bias across finished goods and spares, identifying root causes of error and volatility. Drive corrective actions in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to improve forecast performance. Leverage statistical forecasting, predictive analytics, and planning tools to enhance demand accuracy and insight. Lifecycle, Spares & Inventory Management Lead demand planning across the full product lifecycle, including launch, ramp‑up, maturity, run‑out, and end‑of‑ Define and manage spares demand and stocking policies (lifecycle curves, MOQs, lead times, service levels), ensuring regulatory, warranty, and aftersales obligations are met. Own demand‑led SLOB mitigation and risk reduction activity. Data, Events & Cross ‑Functional Collaboration Incorporate promotions, trade activity, and exceptional demand events into demand plans, identifying and escalating material risks. Analyse historical sales, service demand, consumer behaviour, and inventory data to identify trends and demand signals. Work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, Warehouse & Logistics, Aftersales, suppliers, and 3PLs to align on a single, consensus demand plan. In addition to role specific skills and experience (outlined below) all of our colleagues should always: Think Customer Care About People Value Innovation Keep It Simple Must have: Ability to identify improvement opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, revenue, and efficiencies. 5+ years’ proven experience in demand planning Strong demand modelling and statistical forecasting capability, with hands‑on experience using quantitative forecasting methods, trend analysis, and scenario planning to improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias. Advanced analytical capability, with confidence working in spreadsheets and data visualisation tools to manipulate large data sets, produce insights, and clearly communicate outcomes to stakeholders (SQL experience desirable). Proven experience using demand planning and inventory management systems, Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain principles, with the ability to assess how demand impacts production, inventory, logistics, and customer service. Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver improvement opportunities Confident cross‑functional collaborator and communicator to build alignment and consensus. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, explain complex analytics, and influence decisions through insight‑led recommendations.
