Data Security & DLP Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Now we're looking for experienced data security professionals to help teach AI how sensitive information is exposed, detected, and protected in the real world. This is a rare opportunity to apply your hands-on knowledge of DLP, data classification, and security operations to directly shape the next generation of AI systems — on your own schedule, from anywhere. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments Classify data sensitivity levels, exposure paths, and policy violations Evaluate prevention, detection, and incident response strategies Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and benchmark AI systems Help AI reason accurately about how sensitive information risk plays out in modern organizations Who You Are 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations Familiar with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.) Practical, hands-on understanding of how data leaks and security failures occur in real environments Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills Comfortable working independently and asynchronously Nice to Have Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS security tooling Background in compliance, risk management, or incident response Familiarity with AI training or evaluation workflows Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — set your own hours and workload Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Your real-world expertise drives meaningful impact on how AI handles sensitive data Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
