Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Analyze realistic data security and DLP scenarios across cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments Classify data sensitivity, exposure paths, and policy violations based on real-world conditions Review and evaluate prevention, detection, and response strategies for accuracy and completeness Generate, label, and validate data security cases used to train and benchmark AI models Apply your understanding of how data risk plays out across modern organizations to improve AI reasoning Who You Are 2+ years of experience in data security, compliance, or security operations Hands-on familiarity with DLP tools, data classification frameworks, and privacy or regulatory concepts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) Practical understanding of how sensitive data is exposed, detected, and protected in real environments Ability to think critically about risk scenarios and communicate findings clearly Self-directed and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks Nice to Have Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or SaaS security tools Background in security operations, incident response, or data governance Familiarity with AI systems or machine learning workflows Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or equivalent Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your schedule, on your terms Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and collaboration with a global expert community Make a meaningful impact on how AI understands and handles sensitive information Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
