You’ll become a subject matter expert on the internal data structure and data flows, work with data vendors to maintain current relationships, and support the different teams at Innisfree with their data-related requests. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or related field Ability to analyze large, complex and dynamic data sets Understanding of the stock market, financial instruments and the investment process Understanding of stock valuation methods Experience working with SQL Server, or other relational databases Intermediary knowledge of the SQL language Ability to manage multiple projects and multiple project team requests Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail Self-direction and initiative Strong written and oral business communications skills Ability to work as a collaborative team member Technical analysis Advanced-level MS Office skills, including PowerPoint and Excel U.S. employment authorization without current or future need for sponsorship Other helpful background Experience using languages such as C#, VBA, or Python Related internship, industry or academic experience Experience working with financial data from sources such as Bloomberg and FactSet Accountabilities Develop a deep understanding of expected data behavior across different time periods, data transformations, and application views Proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies and data drift issues Validate outputs of SQL stored procedures and queries to ensure data accuracy and consistency Verify solutions and fixes in a QA environment prior to production releases Interface with both internal and external software developers to clarify requirements and validate new features and document findings Flexible, safe options for remote and on-site work At Innisfree, we deliver high-quality results for our clients while maintaining staff work/life balance and personal connections with colleagues. While the majority of work is done remotely, this is a hybrid position which will require on-site presence, in-person training, and collaboration with other team members on a regular basis. In addition, employees may be asked to attend client meetings, in-person team building exercises, and firm gatherings. Compensation: A base salary will be offered commensurate with a candidate’s prior experience. Candidate will be eligible for the firm’s annual merit-based bonus program and will participate in its (currently) 100% employer-paid medical/dental/disability/life insurance plans and its discretionary profit-sharing 401(k) plan.
