This role is central to the effective management of our clients' global IP portfolios. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of IP data management, from the initial intake and onboarding of new portfolios to ensuring the long-term accuracy and integrity of the data. This position requires a high level of precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both clients and internal teams to meet project deadlines and uphold our commitment to data excellence. About Protect We help Protect our customers’ ideas and innovations Job Overview Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the intake and onboarding of new customer IP portfolios, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. Process and integrate updates to existing IP portfolios promptly and accurately. Perform routine data cleansing and validation to maintain accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all IP records. Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies in line with established data governance and quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for daily customer requests and communications, ensuring timely, high-quality service. Prepare and present data discrepancy reports to customers and implement approved corrections. Produce detailed docketing reports for business take on activities and ad hoc customer needs. Partner with the Onboarding and Servicing Team to ensure new customer onboarding meets project timelines and quality expectations. Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to deliver professional and unified customer experience. Support the development and training of team members by providing guidance and assistance to help ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks. Ensure full adherence to internal policies and procedures and promptly report any risks or issues to management. Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive customer data in compliance with company policies and procedures. Skills & Experience A minimum of 5 years within the IP industry required, subject matter expert on data integrity or similar activities maintaining data quality throughout the patent lifecycle. Strong understanding of patent law and procedures, with focus on IP renewal regulations. Strong knowledge of patent databases and search platforms. Expertise in data analysis, attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and errors in complex data sets. Strong verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail and analytical thinker.
