Job Description This is a remote position. Data Entry Specialist Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing & Invoicing Specialist to support invoice management, payment tracking, and insurance billing processes. This role requires strong data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately reconcile invoices based on insurance payments and client responsibilities. Key Responsibilities ● Create and update invoices based on insurance billing data ● Review insurance payments and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) ● Reconcile projected invoice amounts with actual payments received ● Track client co-pays, secondary insurance payments, and outstanding balances ● Adjust invoice line items and totals based on updated payment information ● Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation ● Process and manage large volumes of invoice data ● Update spreadsheets and reports as needed ● Ensure accuracy across all billing and invoicing systems Platforms & Tools Used ● QuickBooks ● EMS OW ● Microsoft Excel Ideal Candidate ● Previous experience in invoicing, billing, bookkeeping, or data entry ● Experience with QuickBooks preferred ● Comfortable working with Excel and large data sets ● Strong attention to detail and accuracy ● Excellent English communication skills ● Ability to follow processes and manage repetitive tasks efficiently ● Experience with insurance billing or payment reconciliation is a plus ● Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
