Data Engineer (AI & Automation) We are scaling our AI and automation capability at Bank ABC in London and are looking for a Data Engineer to build the data foundations that power automation, analytics and AI-driven solutions across the bank. This is a hands-on role delivering real impact, working across business and technology teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable and ready for AI and automation use cases. What You Will Be Doing Design, build and maintain data pipelines connecting core banking systems and enterprise platforms Prepare and transform data for analytics, dashboards and AI-driven workflows Implement strong data quality, governance and security controls Partner with Developers, SMEs and central IT/Data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions What You Will Bring 3+ years’ experience in data engineering / BI / data-focused roles ideally within Financial Services Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python and building ETL/ELT pipelines Experience integrating data from databases, APIs and cloud platforms (e.g. Azure/AWS) A practical, delivery-focused mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills Why Join Us?
