Profile: Client, a leading commercial real estate global company, is embarking on an exciting journey to build its data ecosystem in Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) following its strategic partnership with Google. We're looking for a Data & AI Project Manager to join our growing Data team in the EMEA region. This is an incredible opportunity for project manager with 3+ years of experience who is passionate about data and artificial intelligence. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our data-driven projects, working alongside a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn the ropes of project management in a fast-paced, tech-focused environment. You will be responsible for keeping our projects on track, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders, and helping us deliver cutting-edge data and AI solutions. Key responsibilities: Support project delivery: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of all aspects of data and AI projects delivery across various local markets in EMEA. Manage project documentation: Create and maintain project plans, timelines, status reports, and other key documents. Facilitate communication: Act as a central point of contact, ensuring clear and timely communication between the project team, stakeholders, and leadership. Track progress and risks: Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks or issues, and escalate them to the steerco or projects executive sponsor. Organize meetings: Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items and decisions. Foster collaboration: Help build a collaborative environment where team members can work efficiently and effectively. Learn and grow: Gain more experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and a deep understanding of the data and AI development lifecycle. Requirements: Foundational Skills Problem-Solving: The ability to logically and creatively approach challenges, breaking down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You should be able to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks and deadlines. A meticulous approach to documentation and tracking is a must. Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines. Technical Aptitude Data & AI Awareness: A foundational understanding of the data lifecycle, from data collection and processing to analysis and visualization. Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a significant plus. Willingness to Learn: A genuine curiosity and a strong desire to learn about data technologies, project management methodologies, and the specific processes involved in data and AI projects. Interpersonal Skills Teamwork & Collaboration: The capacity to work effectively within a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team dynamic. Proactiveness: A self-starter who takes initiative and isn't afraid to ask questions or seek out solutions. Adaptability: The flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Proactive & Self-Motivated: We're looking for someone who takes initiative and is eager to learn. You should be a self-starter who can work independently while also contributing to team goals. Qualifications & experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline. A strong interest in data, AI, and technology. You understand the basics of the data and AI development process and are excited to learn more. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. You are able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines without losing sight of the details. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. You can clearly and confidently communicate with people at all levels. A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership. You don't wait for instructions—you identify what needs to be done and take the initiative. Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) is a plus, but not required. Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in another EMEA language is a bonus.
