2. About the Opportunity:
The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting healthcare delivery by managing customer interactions efficiently. This position is responsible for handling patient inquiries, coordinating with clinical staff, and facilitating appointment scheduling and medication refills. The role impacts the organization by ensuring patients receive timely assistance and accurate information, contributing to improved healthcare experiences.
3. Responsibilities:
• Answer 60-80 incoming phone calls daily and identify customer needs
• Ask relevant questions and actively listen to document information in computer systems
• Communicate directly with clinical staff regarding patient needs
• Manage medication refills, referral requests, and chart troubleshooting
• Schedule patient appointments and update demographic information
• Perform other tasks as required
4. Requirements:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 18 years of age
• At least 1 year of customer service experience using phones and computers
• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute
• Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm MST
Preferred:
• 1+ year healthcare experience
• 1+ year call center experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
Telecommuting:
• External candidates must be within commutable distance of Lakewood, CO, for 1.5 days of on-site orientation
• After orientation, remote work within the U.S. is permitted
• Must maintain a secure, dedicated work area with privacy
• Must have approved high-speed internet connection
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $29.00 based on experience and other factors
• Includes benefits such as comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions subject to eligibility
