Creative Director/Brand Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, remote (with occasional physical meetings) Creative Director role based in Abuja. The Creative Director will lead the conceptual development and execution of brand and campaign ideas across print, digital, and social channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising creative projects from brief to delivery, guiding art direction and design, and ensuring all work aligns with brand strategy and client goals. The role involves managing and mentoring designers and other creative team members, reviewing and refining creative outputs, and presenting concepts to clients and internal stakeholders. The Creative Director will collaborate with strategy, account, and production teams to plan project timelines, maintain quality standards, and meet deadlines. The position also requires staying current with design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the agency’s creative work.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Creative Direction and Creative Strategy, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in Branding and Art Direction, including developing brand identities, visual systems, and cohesive campaign concepts.
• Advanced Graphic Design skills, with hands-on experience using industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar).
• Proven ability to manage and mentor creative teams, provide constructive feedback, and foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and client-facing communication skills, with the ability to clearly justify creative decisions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency or studio setting.
• Relevant academic background in Design, Fine Arts, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with brand design and strategy (i.e building brand books and systems)
