Role: Corporate M&A Paralegal (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $40 - $70/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Corporate M&A Paralegal to work on a contract basis. As a key member of our client's deal team, you will provide critical support in all stages of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with personally identifiable information (PII) regulations. Your expertise will shape the next-generation AI systems, driving innovation and growth in the finance industry. With a focus on high-quality, real-world input, you will play a pivotal role in helping our client's AI systems learn, reason, and perform. Key Responsibilities: • Support attorneys and deal teams in all stages of M&A transactions, including due diligence, document preparation, and post-closing activities. • Review, organize, and manage sensitive corporate and financial documents, ensuring strict compliance with PII regulations. • Oversee secure handling, redaction, and transfer of PII and other confidential data throughout deal processes. • Assist in drafting, filing, and maintaining compliance documentation and regulatory submissions as required. • Conduct PII risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in M&A transactions, with a focus on document management, due diligence, and compliance. • Strong understanding of PII regulations and best practices for secure data handling. • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
