We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Automation Specialist to join Metsä Group´s Continuous Improvement Team. What Will You Do? As a Continuous Improvement Automation Specialist at Metsä Group, you will play a key role within the Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) by enhancing productivity and quality. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts, tools, and applications to streamline business processes. Responsibilities include identifying automation opportunities in collaboration with teams, maintaining and optimizing existing scripts, and ensuring the reliability and performance of automated solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: Designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline business processes. Collaborating with teams to identify opportunities for automation that enhance productivity and quality. Administering local applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams) to support operational needs. Maintaining and documenting existing automation scripts to ensure reliability and continuity. Introducing best practices for automation, identifying inefficiencies, and driving process improvements. Preparing agreed reports to support operations. Supporting the development of technical skills among other team members. Location: This position is based in Gdańsk (Poland) . We operate in a hybrid working model , which includes the flexibility of remote work combined with the expectation to be present in the office at least three days per week . What are we looking for? The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills , learns quickly, and works independently. They are open to new challenges, cooperative, and communicate effectively while working closely with clients and teams. Key qualifications and attributes include: Knowledge of Power Automate Desktop and Cloud, Power Apps Excel advanced skills Basic knowledge of any programming language General IT skills on a very good level Basic understanding of SAP FI module Familiarized with accounting processes and terminology 3+ years’ experience in Power Platform development Languages: Fluency in English required Nice to have: Experience in AI services implementation Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate UiPath or Blue Prism Previous experience in SSC/BPO sector Knowledge of process improvement techniques (Lean/Six Sigma) Knowledge of VBA, Python, Power Query What do we offer?
