Requirements ∙ Content Creation: Produce well-researched, engaging, and grammatically correct content for various channels, including blogs, websites, social media, email newsletters, and marketing materials. ∙ Content Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand identity and marketing objectives. ∙ Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in content creation. Stay up to date with industry trends and news to generate fresh ideas for content. ∙ Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. Proofread content for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors before publication. ∙ SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines and improve organic visibility. Write compelling meta descriptions, title tags, and headings to enhance content discoverability. ∙ Content Distribution: Assist in the distribution of content across various platforms, including social media channels, email newsletters, and content syndication platforms. ∙ Content Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of content using analytics tools. Track key metrics such as engagement, click-through rates, and conversion rates to measure the effectiveness of content strategies. ∙ Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure content consistency and alignment with overall marketing campaigns. ∙ Content Ideation: Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for content initiatives, campaigns, and projects. Qualifications: ∙ Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field. ∙ 3+ years of experience as a Content Writer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of published articles, blog posts, or other content. ∙ Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. ∙ Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools. ∙ Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. ∙ Strong research skills and ability to gather, analyse, and synthesise information from multiple sources. ∙ Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for content. ∙ Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and content marketing strategies. ∙ Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. ∙ Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. ∙ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
