Role : Machine Vision Engineer Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $30 - $90/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Machine Vision Engineer to work on a contract basis. This role involves designing and implementing advanced machine vision algorithms to enhance automated inspection systems and real-world AI training pipelines. The work directly contributes to improving how next-generation AI models learn, reason, and perform across critical industries such as finance, healthcare, and engineering. Candidates with domain expertise in image processing, computer vision, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply, as prior AI experience is not required. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop robust machine vision algorithms for image analysis and automated inspection tasks using OpenCV and other computer vision libraries. • Build scalable and efficient image processing pipelines optimized for accuracy, speed, and reliability across diverse datasets. • Preprocess, annotate, and curate large-scale image datasets to support the training, validation, and testing of vision models. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, refine project scope, and deliver project milestones on schedule. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex computer vision challenges, ensuring seamless integration with existing AI development and evaluation frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on computer vision or image processing. • Proficiency in OpenCV and other computer vision libraries, with hands-on experience in building and optimizing image processing pipelines. • Experience with image annotation, dataset curation, and preprocessing for machine learning model training. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex vision algorithms and system integrations. • Familiarity with Python and standard software engineering practices for scalable and maintainable code development.
