Their practice often involves complex matters such as partner and shareholder disputes, LLC member conflicts, and other sophisticated commercial litigation issues. We are seeking a Litigation Associate with 2 to 3 years of experience to join our growing team. Duties: Handle all aspects of complex, high-exposure litigation, including case evaluation, strategy, discovery, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, and motions Conduct depositions and assist in witness preparation Perform legal research and draft analyses on nuanced legal issues Manage discovery, including document review and analysis Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and experts. Collaborate with partners and colleagues in a team-driven environment Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active member of the California State Bar in good standing 2–3 years of litigation experience, preferably business, commercial, or real estate litigation experience Familiarity with billing software and concurrent time entry Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills Courtroom experience, including arguing motions, depositions, or trial prep, is a plus Must be self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to work independently when needed Maintain a 1600-hour annual billable requirement Compensation & Benefits: Medical & Profit Sharing Plan Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays Compensation: $130,000 - $165,000 Plus performance commission/bonuses Location: Torrance, California (90503) Hybrid after the acclimation period Please note that we at Career Consulting Partners will be sure to keep your information private.
