Clinical Research Associate

CRA – Oncology (Global CRO) Location: Belgium (primary) with additional site coverage in the Netherlands Scope: Full protocol ownership across contract negotiation, SSU, monitoring, and close‑out for 2 oncology studies

Summary A global CRO is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate to support its growing oncology portfolio across Belgium with some cross‑border oversight in the Netherlands. This position is ideal for CRAs who want end‑to‑end responsibility rather than a pure monitoring remit. You will manage approximately two oncology protocols, taking ownership from start‑up through close‑out, including site contracts, regulatory submissions, site management, and on‑site/remote monitoring.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Full protocol ownership across Belgium and selected Dutch sites
• Contract negotiation with Belgian and Dutch sites in collaboration with internal SSU/legal teams
• Study start‑up including submissions to Belgian authorities/ethics committees and Dutch counterparts
• Conduct approximately 6–8 monitoring visits per study, with flexibility depending on site needs
• Site relationship management to ensure high‑quality data and patient safety
• Oversight of close‑out activities including data review, query resolution, and site reconciliation
• Cross‑functional collaboration with project management, regulatory, data management, and clinical teams

🎯 Ideal Candidate Profile

• CRA experience within oncology
• Familiarity with Belgian regulatory pathways; Dutch experience is a plus
• Comfortable managing two protocols with full ownership
• Strong communication skills with investigators and site staff
• Able to work home‑based or office‑based within Belgium
• Solid understanding of ICH‑GCP, Belgian legislation, and cross‑border study conduct
