Health, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, life & disability insurance What You’ll Do: Post all incoming payments accurately and timely from multiple sources, including electronic remittance advice (ERA/EFT), checks, cash, credit card payments, and patient payments. Reconcile daily deposits against bank activity, remittance reports, and practice management/billing system records. Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all appropriate information is posted to patient accounts within company guidelines. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied balances, missing payments, and posting variances. Post insurance recoupments, take-backs, denials, and adjustments accurately according to payer guidelines and company procedures. Cross-train and fill-in other areas within the Billing Department as needed. Requirements What We’re Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum 1–2 years of medical payment posting, medical billing, or healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to reconcile payments accurately and identify discrepancies. The ability to use discretion in handling confidential information Physical Needs: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
