We don’t just find jobs for candidates—we prepare them to get hired. Role Summary The Career Placement Coach owns the journey from training → career clarity → job readiness → successful placement. This role bridges candidates and our recruiting team by ensuring every jobseeker is coached, prepared, and aligned with real client opportunities. You will coach trainees before and after training, run employability sessions at events, and work closely with recruiters to match prepared candidates to open roles. Key Responsibilities 1) Career Coaching & Guidance Conduct 1:1 career coaching sessions with trainees and jobseekers Help candidates define career paths aligned with market demand Assess strengths, skills gaps, and readiness for placement Create personalized job search and placement plans 2) Job Readiness & Employability Coach candidates on: Resume optimization LinkedIn profile improvement Interview preparation Professional communication Workplace readiness Run mock interviews and feedback sessions Prepare candidates specifically for roles from our client pipeline 3) Placement Alignment with Recruiting Team Work daily with recruiters to understand open client roles Recommend job-ready candidates for specific positions Ensure candidates meet client expectations before submission Track candidate progress from coaching to placement 4) Training & Event Participation Speak at jobseeker events, workshops, and webinars Deliver group sessions on employability and career success Support trainees before, during, and after training programs 5) Candidate Success Tracking Maintain records of coaching sessions and candidate progress Track outcomes: interviews, offers, placements Continuously improve coaching based on hiring feedback Required Skills & Experience Background in recruiting, career coaching, workforce development, or staffing Strong understanding of hiring processes across industries Experience coaching candidates for interviews and job placement Excellent communication and presentation skills (for events & workshops) Ability to assess candidate readiness and market fit Comfortable working with recruiters and client job requirements Organized and able to manage multiple candidates simultaneously Preferred Experience in a staffing agency, bootcamp, or training organization Experience speaking at events or conducting workshops Familiarity with LinkedIn, resumes, and ATS/recruiting tools
