McPherson|Berry is looking to expand our team of β βCareer Consultants working alongside our team to deliver both one to one support and group learning to our clients. The Career Consultant will be responsible for supporting candidates in career transition. The Career Consultant will be responsible for utilizing and guiding candidates on the full range of career transition resources. We would also look for creative input into expanding and developing our career transition services as well as the ability to work closely with our clients and other stakeholders. Location: β Virtual position located in the Midwest or West Coast. Requirements Provides high quality consultation services to participants through one-on-one coaching, training, and group facilitation according to our program standards. Demonstrates effective communication skills through active listening, appropriate questioning and rapport building. Effectively manages time and handles caseload as business needs require. Models a dynamic and enthusiastic manner that motivates and encourages candidates. Maintains up-to-date records of all activities with participants. Ability to provide career coaching across a broad range of sectors and at all levels from graduate to C-Suite. Strong administrative skills to maintain records effectively and in a timely manner. Effectively manages time and handles caseload as business needs require. Models a dynamic and enthusiastic manner that motivates and encourages candidates. Maintains up-to-date records of all activities with participants. Required Experience/Characteristics Significant HR/Recruiting and/or Business experience, usually in a corporate setting College degree (advanced degree preferred) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team environment Good organization and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Quick study with technology; strong MS Word skills Strong social media presence Passion for delivering exceptional service Optimistic attitude Personally motivated to help others Excellent facilitation skills Interest in keeping informed in market trends Benefits Job Type: Contractor Employment: Part Time Hours per Week: Number of hours will vary from week to week (Typically 20-30 hours) Workdays: Monday β Friday Salary: Depending on Experience
