Company Description: KastoChha? is a platform built to answer everyday questions about Nepal—covering food, travel, lifestyle, work, money, and trending topics through its “KastoChha Curiosity Engine.” It is designed to turn everyday curiosity into clear, practical, and relatable insights for the Nepali audience. Alongside the platform, we are actively building social media channels across different niches, creating content that answers real “KastoChha?” questions through on-the-ground experiences, real stories, and live exploration. Job Title: Beginner Level Camera Assistant + Video Editor Location: Remote (Outdoor + Editing Work) This is a hybrid learning role where you’ll be involved in both shooting content in real-world settings and editing that same content into final videos. You don’t need professional experience. If you’re curious about cameras, enjoy shooting videos, and want to learn editing from scratch while working on real content — this is for you. What you'll be doing generally: Assist creators with during outdoor content shoots with camera stuff (mostly interaction videos) Help frame shots, hold camera, and support on-field production Join shoots around Kathmandu and nearby areas Capture behind-the-scenes or supporting footage when needed Edit videos for social media (basic cutting, trimming, sequencing, captions, simple effects) Organize and manage raw footage Learn end-to-end content creation from shooting to final upload What We’re Looking For: Interest in cameras, video creation, and social media content Basic interest in video editing (CapCut or whatever tool you prefer) Willingness to go outside for shoots when needed (on-demand in collaboration with creators) Responsibility, punctuality, and consistency Eagerness to learn by doing in a fast-paced creative environment What You’ll Get? Hands-on experience in both shooting and editing real content Full exposure to social media content production workflow Flexible hybrid creative role (field + editing work, not a 9–5 office job) Opportunity to build a strong practical portfolio from day one Real-world learning in storytelling, pacing, and viral content creation How to Apply? Send a short message about yourself and why you’re interested. No need for a CV — even a simple intro is fine. If you’ve plenty of free time and ever wanted to start working with cameras and editing at the same time, this might be the place to begin.
