Role : CAD Specialist (Remote) Location : Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout : $40 - $120/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an OpenSCAD Developer to work on a contractor basis. This role involves applying expertise in OpenSCAD to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required – domain knowledge is what matters. Our client is a leading player in the AI industry, leveraging human expertise to improve AI model performance. Key Responsibilities: • Create, modify, and optimize parametric 2D and 3D models using OpenSCAD to support advanced modeling workflows. • Build reusable and structured CAD components utilizing loops, nesting, and modular logic to ensure scalability and efficiency. • Leverage OpenSCAD tools, such as Boolean operations, vectors, strings, special variables, and transformations for robust script-based modeling. • Generate complex 3D forms from 2D geometry using techniques like linear_extrude and rotate_extrude. • Apply advanced functions, including Minkowski, to create intricate and highly detailed geometries. • Translate conceptual sketches into functional 3D models. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proficiency in OpenSCAD scripting and parametric modeling. • Experience with CAD software, including Autocad. • Ability to create complex 2D and 3D objects. • Knowledge of Boolean operations, vectors, and transformations. • Understanding of modular logic and structured coding practices. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
