We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep expertise in Temenos T24 to operate confidently at the intersection of financial product design, accounting, data analysis, and technology delivery within a regulated financial services environment.

This is a hands on, delivery oriented role for an analyst who can move fluidly between banking product concepts, accounting treatment, and system configuration, translating complex business requirements into well designed and configurable T24 solutions using Arrangement Architecture (AA).

You will work on initiatives that support everyday banking, deposits, and lending products, contributing to systems that are core to how members bank every day. This role is well suited to a self starter who is structured, pragmatic, and comfortable taking accountability in complex environments with shifting priorities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Financial Product & Core Banking Analysis

• Lead analysis and design of financial products in Temenos T24, with strong focus on:

o Demand / everyday banking products (chequing, savings)

o Term deposit products

o Lending products (loans, lines of credit, mortgages)

• Translate product and business needs into clear, testable functional and non functional requirements, aligned to T24 capabilities.

• Design product features including:

o Interest calculation methods and accruals

o Charge plans and service fee structures

o Product lifecycle events and behavioral rules

• Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned to business, regulatory, and accounting objectives.

Temenos T24 & Arrangement Architecture (AA)

• Configure and support T24 Arrangement Architecture (AA) products, including:

o Properties, conditions, and rules

o Interest, fee, and accounting linkage configuration

• Design and configure:

o Demand account products supporting everyday banking

o Term deposit products, including maturity, renewal, and rate structures

o Lending products with deep understanding of:

§ Payment rules and schedules

§ Delinquency handling

§ Aging, arrears, and collections logic

• Bonus: Understanding of syndicated lending concepts and structures.

Accounting & Financial Controls

• Apply strong knowledge of core banking accounting standards and practices.

• Design, validate, and troubleshoot accounting entries generated by T24, including:

o Interest income

o Interest expense

o Accruals and reversals

• Support reconciliation and balancing activities, including:

o Root cause analysis of breaks

o Collaboration with Finance and Operations teams

• Ensure product and system designs support auditability, transparency, and regulatory compliance.

Business & Technical Analysis

• Lead business requirements analysis from intake through delivery.

• Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks, and downstream effects across systems.

• Document solutions using UML and structured analysis techniques, such as:

o Process flows

o Sequence diagrams

o Data models

• Leverage understanding of object oriented programming concepts to:

o Interpret system behavior

o Validate technical solutions

o Communicate effectively with developers and architects.

Data Analysis & Integration Awareness

• Perform complex data analysis, including writing and validating SQL queries to:

o Support requirements

o Investigate issues

o Validate postings and reconciliations

• Understand system integrations and data flows between T24 and upstream/downstream platforms.

• Contribute to integration and interface documentation as required

Backlog & Delivery Management

• Create and maintain a well structured product backlog in Azure DevOps, including:

o Epics

o Features

o User stories

o Acceptance criteria

• Collaborate closely with delivery teams to:

o Refine backlog items

o Prioritize work

o Ensure readiness for development

• Actively manage dependencies, risks, and release impacts.

Testing & Change Support

• Author and support:

o Test strategies

o Detailed test plans

• Support testing activities, including:

o SIT and UAT

o Defect triage and resolution

• Support change management activities, including:

o Impact assessments

o Stakeholder communications

o Readiness planning

• Assist with incident analysis and troubleshooting, staying engaged through resolution.

Cross Functional Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a key liaison across:

o Business stakeholders

o Finance and Operations

o Technology, Architecture, and Integration teams

o External vendors and partners

• Manage business requirements and stakeholder expectations across initiatives.

• Communicate complex product, accounting, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.

• Escalate issues thoughtfully, partnering with the right teams to resolve problems end to end.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst in a complex environment.

• Strong hands on experience with Temenos T24, including Arrangement Architecture (AA).

• Proven experience designing and configuring:

o Demand / everyday banking products

o Term deposits

o Lending products

• Strong understanding of:

o Interest accruals

o Interest income and expense

o Accounting postings and reconciliation

• Strong SQL skills and comfort working directly with data.

• Programming or technical background sufficient to understand system behavior and constraints.

• Hands on experience with Azure DevOps.
