Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for Up Core’s digital transformation and custom systems solutions. On a day-to-day basis, this role will research target markets and industries, build and maintain a qualified pipeline of leads, and conduct outreach through calls, emails, and online channels. The specialist will prepare and deliver tailored presentations and product overviews in collaboration with the technical and product teams, ensuring that client needs are clearly understood and addressed. Responsibilities include nurturing relationships with prospective and existing clients, coordinating discovery meetings, supporting proposal and contract preparation, and tracking all activities in the CRM. The role will also involve collecting feedback from prospects, monitoring competitors, and providing insights to improve offerings and go-to-market strategies. Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills to engage prospects, build trust, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Lead generation and market research skills to identify target segments, qualify opportunities, and map decision-makers.
Analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate opportunities, and support data-informed sales and growth decisions.
Experience or familiarity with B2B SaaS, digital transformation, ERP, CRM, or operational systems is highly beneficial.
Comfort using CRM and sales tools to manage pipelines, document interactions, and report on performance.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate across distributed teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
