Business Development Representative – Renewable Energy SaaS Platform

At Streem, we are building the next generation SaaS platform to empower the commercial management of renewable energy assets. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition by enabling asset managers, investors, and operators to extract more value from their renewable portfolios. As we accelerate our expansion across Europe, we are looking for a Business Developer to join our team and play a key role in strengthening our leadership in France while supporting our expansion in Europe. You will play a key role in lead generation in France , ensuring a strong and consistent sales pipeline, while supporting the sales team in managing a large volume of accounts and preparing for key industry events and conferences. As a front-line representative of Streem, you will contribute to maintaining our position as the reference Asset Management SaaS platform for renewable energy professionals . In this role, you will: Identify and qualify new sales leads through a mix of cold outreach, networking and professional events Conduct high-level entry-point product demonstrations for prospects, highlighting the value of Streem’s SaaS platform. Support the sales team across the sale cycle from identification to negotiation and closing Support the administrative and operational management of a large portfolio of accounts (CRM updates, sales documentation, follow-ups) to enable a smooth and scalable sales process. Contribute to the relationship with existing clients: renewals, cross-sell, upsell etc. Assist with the preparation and execution of industry events and conferences, including lead preparation and post-event follow-up. Collaborate with product, operations, and commercial teams to relay market feedback and customer needs within the organization This is a unique opportunity to join a leader in France and participate in our expansion in Europe! Must-have: Experience: 1-3 years in sales / business development ideally in SaaS or renewable energy Skills & Competencies: Strong lead generation and qualification skills, with an interest in outbound prospecting and pipeline building. Good understanding of sales processes in a B2B environment (SaaS and/or renewable energy is a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interact professionally with prospects, clients, and internal teams. Strong capacity for autonomous work, including the ability to independently identify and generate new leads Solid organizational skills to manage a high volume of accounts and priorities efficiently. Ability to support event and conference preparation, including meeting scheduling and post-event follow-up. Fluent in French and English Attributes: Curious, proactive, and energetic with a problem-solving mindset. Collaborative and adaptable, able to work closely with product, and operation teams. Passionate about renewable energy and making an impact in the energy transition.
