Remote | Ottawa Web Genius

Ottawa Web Genius is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help us connect with businesses that need professional website design, SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing services.

We’re a growing Ottawa-based web design and digital marketing agency with 50+ completed projects and 36+ five-star Google reviews. We work primarily with service-based businesses that depend on a strong online presence to generate leads and grow their business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, sales, relationship-building, and helping businesses find solutions to their marketing challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Identify and research qualified business prospects
• Reach out to business owners through LinkedIn, email, phone, and networking opportunities
• Build relationships with potential clients
• Introduce Ottawa Web Genius services
• Qualify opportunities and identify client needs
• Book discovery calls with qualified prospects
• Follow up with leads throughout the sales process

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Organized and consistent with follow-up
• Experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or account management is an asset
• Existing professional network is a bonus but not required
• Interest in digital marketing, websites, and business growth is preferred

Compensation

This is a commission-based opportunity.

Compensation is earned on successfully closed projects and recurring monthly service agreements.

There is no cap on earnings, and strong performers have the opportunity to build a meaningful recurring income stream as Ottawa Web Genius continues to grow.
