Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing, well-connected International Business Development Manager (BDM) to accelerate our global growth. In this role, you will leverage your existing network of retail sourcing directors, apparel QA managers, and supply chain VPs to secure new inspection contracts and get O9 Global Inspection listed on the Approved Vendor Lists (AVL) of major international brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Pipeline Generation: Identify, target, and pitch to international apparel and home furnishing brands, buying houses, and e-commerce retailers.
B2B Client Acquisition: Secure new inspection, inline audit, and pre-shipment testing contracts to drive monthly revenue growth.
Strategic Networking: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers (Sourcing Directors, VP of Quality, Global Compliance Managers).
Account Growth: Act as the initial bridge between the client's corporate headquarters and our on-ground technical field teams to ensure smooth service onboarding.
Qualifications & Experience:
Industry Expertise: Minimum 3–5 years of proven B2B sales or business development experience specifically within the third-party inspection (TIC) industry, apparel manufacturing, or global retail sourcing.
Active Network: A ready-to-tap rolodex of contacts within retail buying offices and apparel supply chains.
Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of garment quality checking processes, AQL statistical sampling standards (ANSI/ASQ Z1.4), and factory compliance protocols.
Communication: Exceptional English communication, negotiation, and corporate pitching skills.
