Role Description We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity to join our team on a full-time remote basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the growth of Rescue IT by proactively identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities in the cybersecurity sector. Your focus will be on discovering high-potential leads for Security Operations Center (SOC) implementation and administration, as well as other cybersecurity projects and complementary IT solutions. Key responsibilities include: Proactively sourcing and generating new business leads through various channels (LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, outbound outreach, and market intelligence). Building and managing a healthy sales pipeline of qualified prospects. Leading the entire sales cycle — from initial engagement and discovery to proposal delivery, negotiations, and contract closure. Collaborating with our technical and consulting teams to craft customized solutions that precisely address client challenges. Cultivating long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for expansion. Representing Rescue IT professionally in industry events, webinars, and strategic meetings. Sharing market insights to help refine our service offerings. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means consistently identifying and converting meaningful opportunities into signed partnerships. You will be recognized for building a strong pipeline, closing strategic deals in cybersecurity (particularly SOC-related projects), and contributing directly to the sustainable growth of Rescue IT. Qualifications Proven track record in B2B business development or sales, ideally within cybersecurity, IT services, or technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and successfully close complex deals. Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts (SOC, managed security services, threat detection, etc.) or a strong willingness and capacity to rapidly master technical topics. Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills — capable of engaging both technical and C-level stakeholders. Highly self-motivated with excellent organization, time management, and CRM proficiency. Collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with technical, delivery, and leadership teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a strong advantage. Previous experience with international clients or in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment is highly valued.
