Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: Taiwan or Korea The Role: As a Business Development Manager focusing on the APJ region, you will deliver new client growth through effective prospecting, pipeline management, and proposal coordination. You will take ownership of your commercial opportunities while communicating value to clients, solving client challenges through tailored solutions, and improving business development processes and team effectiveness. You will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from prospecting to delivery. Main Responsibilities: Independently deliver individual sales targets related to gross margin, new clients and conversion rates. Own a defined business development lifecycle, from initial outreach to proposal and closing. Own a defined geographic region and develop tailored growth strategies for this market. Identify opportunities to improve lead qualification methods, outreach tactics, or CRM workflows. Work with senior stakeholders to improve commercial content, templates, and pitch formats. Contribute to the evolution of agency positioning and service packaging based on market feedback. Coordinate proposal development across teams (creative, events, strategy, account management) to ensure consistency, feasibility, and alignment with client needs. Manage timelines and inputs for multiple proposals simultaneously with minimal oversight Ensure that all handovers with account teams are structured, informed, and client-ready. Engage in meaningful discovery conversations to understand client pain points and objectives. Collaborate with other departments to solve these challenges by shaping agency solutions that meet both commercial and creative criteria. Advise on best-fit offerings and support clients through the proposal and negotiation phases. Communicate agency value propositions clearly and confidently to clients, prospects, and partners Provide regular updates to leadership on performance, pipeline status, and risks Maintain clear documentation on CRM and support team-wide visibility into opportunity stages. Participate in relevant training sessions, workshops, or personal development courses to build your knowledge and professional skills. Undertake any other duties as reasonably required to support the team and ensure the smooth delivery of business development. Essential In-depth experience business development, agency sales or partnerships Established network in APJ region Experience in Gaming, Events, Tech or Lifestyle sectors Proficient in CRM (e.g Hubspot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MS Suite Strong consultative selling ability, confident in discovery and closing conversations Experienced in writing and managing B2B proposals and coordinating cross-functional input Excellent written and verbal communications; confident presenting to stakeholders Proactive, accountable, commercially minded, team-oriented. and client-focus Excellent written & spoken English as well as fluent in regional langues
