Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and nurture relationships with prospective clients, and manage a structured sales pipeline. Daily activities will include researching target markets, conducting outreach via email, calls, and online channels, presenting Hound Studio’s animation services, and preparing tailored proposals and quotes. The role also involves collaborating with the creative and production teams to scope projects accurately, negotiate contract terms, and ensure smooth client handoff. The Business Development Manager will track performance metrics, provide regular reports on pipeline and revenue forecasts, and offer feedback on market trends to support strategic growth. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in creative services, digital media, or marketing agencies. Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management using CRM tools and online platforms. Ability to conduct market research, identify ideal customer profiles, and tailor outreach strategies to different segments. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively. Comfort working in a fully remote environment, with strong self-organization, time management, and follow-through. Familiarity with animation, video production, or creative project workflows is highly beneficial. Experience drafting proposals, quotes, and basic contracts, with attention to detail and commercial terms. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain a respectful, inclusive working style with colleagues and clients.
