As a Business Analyst Intern, you will work directly with experienced consultants and startup operators on real business challenges across market research, financial analysis, process optimization, and growth initiatives. What You Will Do Assist in Identifying and documenting business value, assumptions, constraints, and business rules for the features and backlog items Participate in elicitation sessions (stakeholder interviews, workshops) — help prepare, conduct, and confirm results with stakeholders Document and specify functional requirements to an appropriate level of detail (e.g. user stories with acceptance criteria, diagrams, mockups) Support requirements management activities including scope definition, change tracking, prioritization, and traceability Contribute to BA communication planning — package and present requirements, designs, and meeting outcomes to the team and client Assist in modeling and visualizing requirements using diagrams, matrices, wireframes, or calculation models Help prepare and support demos, acceptance testing, and client feedback analysis Gather, structure, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business case preparation and strategic recommendations Example Projects Interns may support projects such as: Go-to-market strategy analysis Customer acquisition research Business process improvement Operational KPI tracking Competitive benchmarking AI and automation opportunity assessments Startup and SME growth strategy projects Required Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student (Business, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science) Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) or product development lifecycle (PDLC) concepts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high abstract reasoning Excellent written and verbal English communication and presentation skills Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Google Slides Experience with data visualization and AI-assisted productivity tools Ability to structure information clearly, logically, and with strong attention to detail Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment Self-organization, reliability, and flexibility to adapt approach based on feedback and changing conditions Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of business analysis techniques (e.g. stakeholder analysis, requirements elicitation, user story writing) Familiarity with requirements management or prototyping tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, or similar) Previous internship, consulting club, or case competition experience Familiarity with basic financial analysis and business case preparation Understanding of basic data privacy and protection principles Knowledge of business process modeling (BPM) concepts Ability to create and present clear, structured deliverables (reports, decks, recommendations) What Interns Will Gain Exposure to real consulting-style projects Mentorship from experienced professionals Structured feedback and professional development Experience working in international business environments Portfolio-worthy deliverables and presentations Recommendation letter and reference opportunity for high performers Program Structure Cohort size – 2 interns Collaboration with the consulting team weekly mentorship and review sessions Individual project assignments Team collaboration opportunities Midpoint and final performance feedback Final presentation/demo day Estimated commitment: Part-time: 20 hours/week I mportant Notes for International Students Candidates are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate work authorization and university approvals where applicable.
