Job Description This is a remote position. This is a Remote Job We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper and Financial Administrative Assistant to support a religious nonprofit organization and its affiliated entities. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance-related activities, and providing reliable administrative support in collaboration with leadership and an external CPA. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in environments that require structure, follow-through, and independent problem-solving. Key Responsibilities ⢠Manage and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks Online ⢠Maintain accurate separation of financials across multiple entities ⢠Coordinate directly with organizational leadership to clarify monthly transactions ⢠Prepare basic internal financial reports and support external CPA requests ⢠Organize and document financial files and back-office processes ⢠Assist with compliance-related tasks and communication with regulatory bodies ⢠Support budgeting, grant, and property-related documentation as needed Requirements ⢠2+ years of experience in bookkeeping and administrative support (non-profit experience is a plus) ⢠Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online ⢠Experience using Google Workspace tools ⢠Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills ⢠Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision ⢠Comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving environments ⢠Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week) with some U.S. time zone overlap Benefits ⢠Remote work ⢠Full-time, long-term role ⢠Supportive team environment
