Biology Masters – AI Data Trainer About The Role We're looking for Biology Masters graduates and current students to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep knowledge of biology, biochemistry, or biotechnology will directly shape how AI reasons through complex scientific problems. No AI background required — just rigorous scientific thinking and a passion for getting things right. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Design challenging biology questions to rigorously test AI performance across undergraduate to Masters-level topics Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate precise scientific reasoning Evaluate AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of explanation Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks and improve how AI handles advanced biology concepts Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule Who You Are Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving ability across advanced biology domains Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing Comfortable providing structured, critical feedback Detail-oriented and self-motivated No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows Background in molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, or related specializations Familiarity with AI language models or scientific benchmarking Why Join Us Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top-tier research labs Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you Freelance perks: high autonomy, variety, and the ability to work from anywhere Direct impact on how AI understands and communicates science Potential for ongoing work and contract renewals
